Kind of unrelated but I saw one of the first addons for WHO the other day, hosted at Curse. It was a mod which makes your UI flash red when you have the "Gork Sez Stop" spell on you.

Oh, how I hate the WoWish crowd who just dumb down everything they touch. Why couldn't Mythic offer a UI that's customizable enough not to need mods and severily restrict what's up for modification?

I always did well score wise with archmages in PvP. The fact that almost all of your spells can be cast while running means you can stay mobile, do damage from a distance, and keep yourself and others healed up. Just throwing down a few DoTs, running away if you are getting owned, and trying to keep from getting ganged up on, lets you keep constantly doing damage and healing. The problem I think is that I people were bitching that they do enough damage to kill anyone before they die in 1v1. When you spend that much time putting DoTs on someone you want them to do SOME damage. They patched right before this open beta shenanigans so maybe they buffed them up a bit.

What lvl were you? At lvl 10 I usually get between 14-18k dmg in the dwarf scenario. I've also seen archmages and bright wizards get around the same. I guess you play a more balanced Archmage since you also got a respectable amount of healing in.

On my War Priest in some decent fights I can get in the 15k dmg 21k healing range in the dwarf scenario. Just depends on how much I get ignored for squishier targets. When playing the human scenario there tends to be a ton of Bright Wizards and Witch Hunters so I spend a lot more time healing and a lot less time DPSing. It's pretty fun either way. I have tried this and the archmage and I have to say I just feel the war priest is more entertaining. Then again I had a hardon for the Cleric in Vanguard which had a fairly similar feeling. I have yet to try a rune priest. Anyone know when the beta ends?
