Probably going to be leaving Omaha on the 15th or 23rd to move to Bakersfield. If anyone lives between here and there and wants to hang out let me know. I want to make a few days out of this trip.

I'm moving there because I'm tired of freezing my ass off in Omaha and not being able to find a decent job here. A friend of mine is from Cali and he's moving back to his hometown so I'm just kind of tagging along and hoping for the best.

Edit: Also, I found out that my landlord hasn't been paying the mortgage for the last 5 months, so I kinda have to go somewhere

Omaha has one of the lowest unemployment rates and I still can't find anything decent. It's no big loss if I go there and I can't find anything, I'll just move on to the next spot.

Although now might a good time to try to get people to change since we are so close to going bankrupt. We need a new state constitution badly.

I can just imagine a new state constitution for california. Some key points:

All homeless and illegals are to be treated like royalty.
If you disrespect the homeless or those without citizenship you face a fine and/or up to 3 years imprisonment.
All of your money will be given to the state and distributed as the state sees fit to the less fortunate.
Unless of course you are rich and/or celebrity at which point the law does not apply to you.
Gay people, blacks, and muslims are to be considered doubly equal when it comes to doling out slices of equality.
White and asian people are to spend at least 4 hours a day in self loathing for their ancestors disenfranchising less blessed races.
Money hats will be made and distributed to all citizens with the exception of middle class whites and asians who's job it is to make the money for said hats.
The government knows how to spend your money better than you know how to spend your money. No exceptions.

Yeah, the apartment people are being some slow bastids. We didn't get the apartment yet today either, but possibly tomorrow. Sadly it's also looking like we aren't getting the apartment I thought we were, meaning I can't leech internet off my neighbor, so it may be a little longer before I have internet. It's not been so bad though, I've seen about a million cute mexican girls since I got here, haha
