Recently I have been looking for something to play in addition to Aion as most days I don't feel like putting in the time/effort that Aion requires. So far I have played a little EQ2, a little Age of Conan and a tiny tiny bit of RYL. So far nothing is really catching my interest.

Last night I played some LOTRO lol. The game is still boring as shit PVE but their classes are actually somewhat unique/interesting imo. I made a little warden which kinda plays like a WoW rogue or Diablo 2 assassin in that you build up points to use a bigger skill or "gambit". The difference is that there are actually more gambits than there are skills that build them up. So you have like say Spear points, Shield points, and Aggro points you gain from 3 abilities(don't remember the actual names). You use spear spear and you get one ability, shield shield and you get another, aggro aggro and you get another different ability. Spear then Shield yields a different ability than Shield Spear and so on and so forth. At level 8 or whatever I am there are only 2 point combinations but I think that goes up to 3 or 4 points later. The gambit abilities all seem to have semi-interesting effects like healing or stunning or debuffing or buffing or generating aggro or whatever. I think the class plays out to be a tank that generates aggro by healing themselves. In terms of usefulness I think they fall behind guardians as actual tanks but are decent enough to replace them in most every situation. Unfortunately they excel at nothing. So yeah. Semi-interesting class play style but still boring as shit PvE. La de da.

Oh what oh what will be next? FFXI? SWG? L2? OMG the decisions.

I started a trial for UO. They updated the graphics a bit, added some new skills, you can be and elf and a gargoyle now. Imbuing is in the game which is kind of like DAoC spellcrafting. You can raise stats +25 with a super power scroll which someone will sell for a couple million. You can get scrolls to raise certain skill caps to 120 as well. I'm pissed right now because I bought the game and shit to try and get out of my trial so I could place a house, but, my trial isnt over so I can't do that yet. My bank filled up yesterday so now I'm just waiting til I can drop a hizzy.

Right now I am playing this Russian made mmo called Allods. It's kinda like a weird WoW knockoff. The classes seem a bit less interesting but supposedly there is some form of PvP lol. It runs p good my only real complaint is that you HAVE to do quests to level. Killing mobs nets you like 40 exp each at level 10 when you need about 20k to level. And you seem to hit weird walls in EXP where like you will level p normal speed and then all of a sudden BAM it takes you like 3 hours to get from level 5 to level 6. I dunno it's something to do. Also supposedly has some sort of weird space/airship combat? No idea how that works.

Puppy dog? You mean the Gibberlings? They are kinda weird lol. You basically make 3 of them at creation, and name all 3 of them. And then you play as all 3 of them as one character. It's kinda bizarre imo. Haven't tried one yet. I am a Kanian Cleric of gayness. If any of you do try out this game, all of the Classes in each Archetype are identical with the exception of 1 spell. Like the Elven healer the Priest and the Kanian healer the Cleric have the exact same spells except the Priest has like some sort of shitty mana drain and the Cleric has a damage absorb shield. These work kinda like racials. There are no other differences from what I can tell.

I'm gonna try this weird Russian mmo Jill. Ingame name will probably be Gukag. Ghostcow I'm sorry I tried Project 1999 and lvled a Troll SK to lvl 10, then got bored. I died in EC and was bound in Grobb and didn't log in for like 1 month so my body rotted. I had full banded and a magic 2handed Axe and I'm now broke and naked so not going back unless you can provide me with free shinies.

Do it DesertedSoul. Server seems to be doing fine, 500+ people on peak times. Most are still relatively low level so finding a group isn't that hard. Been playing quite a bit, have seen mven on a lot as well. His cleric has been lvled ridonculously fast, lvl 15 already. I'm still only 13 on my sk. We've grouped a few times, did a Befallen run not too long ago. Was kind of a clusterfuck cause of a dwarf cleric (if you see Xosire train his ass for me) who aggroed a bunch of mobs, then gated, but still fun.

Almost level 9 Necro mfkers. Found some old quests on allakhazam and I thought they weren't in the game but, maybe they are. I just have to be evil, so now I get killed by the guards in my capital city and still can't get the quest lol. Maybe I need to be more evil!

Lawl. There is some sort of Sol Ro armor quests for most classes. I don't really remember if they have them for casters though. I wanna say you can do them like mid 20s-30s.

Still 15 lalala waiting for slow ass RL friends to level.
