I will not be buying this. It just didn't seem that amusing. Sadly Aion is still the best MMO that has come out in the past year and probably for most of this year : (
Anyone else put some serious time into the beta that maybe found some gem of awesomeness that I am missing?

Half my ram is dead and I got fired last week so I haven't really been able to game =\ Sucks too, I kinda wanted to try this one out even though I don't really care for Star Trek.

Yeah, I had a beta account, I just couldn't play. I'm down to 2gb ram right now and that's not enough to do shit when you're running windows 7. I've been pretty much stuck with Street Fighter IV, Everquest, and whatever Gamecube, Wii, and PS2 games I can emulate.

Odd, it runs fine on my laptop and though I do have 4GB of RAM it is a piece of shit otherwise lol. I blame the white man.

Oh well, new ram should be here on Thursday. I can't wait! I've already missed out on Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, and soon AvP as well.

Nice nice. I wouldn't recommend buying Star Trek Online though. Maybe they'll have a trial if you are a fan but I wasn't impressed. Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 are p fun though!

I'm not a Star Trek fan so I was planning on skipping STO anyway. I'll stick with EQ for now

I keep reactivating various accounts for MMOs trying to find one to amuse me when I don't have time or am not in the mood for Aion. The higher end content is so time consuming. I was hoping STO might at least provide some amusement but it's really just as boring as EVE and doesn't even have the perks of being "interesting".
