Yeh I'm thinking about shutting it down. It's no longer fun.

I outlived that shit called Shadowbane.

This site has been sliding into insignificance for what...a couple of years now? Once the delight of pissing Wolfpack wore off, the userbase has been on the downhill slope.

I believe my resubscription to hosting happens on May 5th. I'm not planning on paying it.

Any and all opinions (or bitch-outs) are welcome.

As I posted in the other thread. If you want me to pay for it and/or maintain it I don't mind. I sit around with my thumb up my ass bored at work anyway. This place has been around long enough that I'd hate to see it go. Let me know what you and/or nubs want to do.

Yeah, I'm sorry you didn't realize this years ago Mort, but this has been a hang out for about 10 people for years now, it's never been an anti-Shadowbane or huge PK portal site. That may not be what you intended it for, but it's become our clubhouse, and we've been subsisting on your charity. If you are going to stop paying, at least let Jil take it over.

I'll put some money down. No problem at all. I'd really like to try to turn this site around. I've been here longer than anywhere I've ever hung around on the internet, and I feel like a bit of me would die with this site.

I donated the last $4.05 I had sitting in my paypal account. I'd have thrown down more, but I'm about to get on a plane in a few hours to go buy my new car which is halfway across the country. I need all the gas money I can get.

I'm willing to do something about it. I've been recently fooling around with building a half decent website for the UO WoW people and I think I can make a decent looking and flexible website.

Just give me the go ahead and I'll start developing something.

I will cancel the blog and re-up my hosting.

I believe, but I will verify, that the hosting is fifteen bucks a month, which includes the forum software/database.

We could do a cheaper version I suppose, but I'm not sure if I would be able to get a backup of the current database.

Yeah Mort, if hosting is 15 bucks, just throw up a thing on the front page that links how much has been donated to the expenses and we'll make sure it stays even.
