So I'm in this shit. I made an Alfar, did a bunch of the newbie quests, got myself somewhat decked out, then got PvPed by some blues (thought I was safe, didn't realize they were another race until they started killing me), and lost all my shit. Yep, didn't bank any of it, go me.

Anyways, I'm playing and definitely going to be sticking around at least for a short while. Anyone else still playing or have any interest in coming back if you're an Alfar? =)

I would recommend getting into a guild asap and getting out of the newb towns as well. I know Virakar is playing (the guild who took some of us in playing Vanguard), I am technically a member of Murder Herd and can say they're a bunch of drunks, and the blogger Syncaine (at Hardcore Casual) is in the guild Inquisition (whose Co-Leader is Paragus, an MMORPG.com blogger who got an interview with Tasos I believe).

Keen from KeenandGraev did have his own guild, but I think he stopped playing recently, due to joining the anti goonsquad zerg alliance and being told where his guild could and could not be (or somethin like that).

I don't think Jil plays anymore, but his guild might, Empyreans I believe.

Unless they changed something Darkfall is ARAC unless you get into a guild that is picky about that shit. You should be able to suck anyone's dick if so inclined and gank your own people at will.

I am also not playing and the game was meh enough to warrant me actually cancelling my account for once lol.

Owned. And no, no NA server yet. I've shown the game to a few friends and they've been like, "Cool... I'll check it out when there's an NA server and they've worked out some of the kinks".

I have been playing Darkfall since the release and have had a pretty good time playing it. Been playing with Sinister for awhile now (since warhammer) and we have been kicking ass in Darkfall. Right now our alliance and guild are strong enough where we don't get attacked, so we don't have sieges every few days anymore, which is disappointing. For the early weeks when we just had a hamlet and were helping LoD, the game was amazingly fun. We are kinda in a lull now, just building up our city, hamlets, and characters waiting for the next major battle to appear.

I am ArcticDragoon SiN in game. If anyone sees me, please take a shot at me cause im bored right now : /

I don't think I have seen mort or any of the other guys here from Redemption / Savage alliance in any of the sieges we had against them. I was kinda hoping to run into a few of you guys.

Also im disappointed I didn't run into bonedead before MH fell apart.

Haha Arctic, I was in Murder Herd the first few weeks. We had the city just south of you guys and I know we had some fun fights against you. Neato!

I don't think MH fell apart. From what I can tell, before they went into DF they planned on be a roaming band of marauders. Then the plan was to claim Espenhal as their own. Then on impulse they took that city because it was pretty sweet lookin. Once you get the Goon Alliance against you, and you don't have allies yourself, you're pretty much fucked. When I stopped playing we still had the city. I still get emails from the guildleader about needing people for battles and shit so they've got to still be together.

I'm probably not going to play another game like that though. Just because I'm a stupid fuck with no self control and games like that actually hurt me, irl.
