Regret and sadness that it has finally come to this and as of May 1, 2009 the Shadowbane servers will be powered down once and for all. Yet happiness that it lasted so very long, and pride to be able to stand before such a passionate community to thank you for your undying support and unwavering loyalty to Shadowbane.

This game was shit from day one. PKer.org tried to warn the masses, but some didn't heed the warning.

Yeah, I'm more sad for what the game could have been than happy it failed. Every PvP oriented MMO that goes down the tubes is a few percent less likely that major companies will greenlight a new one.

It sucks that every real PvP game is a low budget piece of shit that tries to bite off way more than its silly budget can handle. Ah well. I can't wait for Aion. I'm sure those crazy Asians have found all sorts of new ways to make me fall asleep at my computer... With wings!
