So I couldn't bring myself to get back into WoW so I am giving Warhammer another shot.

Am on Praag. Prude - Swordmaster.

Exciting.

Are the Choppa and Slayer in yet? When I last played the game had changed a bit in a good way. Low level oRvR was much better with the influence rewards and such. Live events are always fun too. It is a great time killer fun haver game.

They added the choppa and slayer in for general play last week I believe. There are a few 40s already from the people who did the live event to unlock them quicker. The most recent patch also buffed a few classes and nerfed a few others. I think they also lowered the effect resists have on spell damage.

I respecced my SM to actually be able to generate damage even though I don't really have the gear for it. PvP is so much more fun when you can actually kill people without having to fight them for 30 minutes straight. I went from being a little higher than healers on damage in scenarios to typically being the highest damage melee class while still maintaining some survivability.

I don't really think I want to devote a ton of time to playing but just hopping on for some PvP now and again is pretty amusing. I still know a handful of people who play so I don't have to be bored out of my mind soloing either.

On the slayer and choppa... They are basically fairly decent single target DPS with the ability to spec to do a lot of close range AE damage. They have an enrage mechanic that builds while you are in combat and at the upper end makes you do something like 50% more damage at the expense of 50% less armor. So they go from having moderate damage mitigation to being super squishy. You have moves which exhaust your rage as well though you can equip a tactic that stops them from doing this. The few choppas I have fought on my SM don't seem all that impressive though new 40s probably have shit gear with few if any talismans slotted so they are gonna be missing a ton of extra damage and/or hp. Hopefully they will turn out to be better than the blackguard/knight ended up being haha.

On a side note, have you got your wings in Aion yet?

I don't think Aion comes out any time soon. Though I was looking at the Stargate Worlds site the other day and it looks like it's supposed to come out this year lol.
