So I played the first and I was like, meh it's pretty good, kinda a starcraft rts. But i recently saw the review for this and apparently it's pretty unique. They did away with base building so single player is almost a action rpg in terms of being able to lvl up squads and get look for them and have commanders. Think heroes in Warcraft III. Then in multiplayer it's more RTS but once again with the emphasis on the squad and capturing points for unit production but once again no base building. It seems refreshing to me. Just came out, I was thinking of "getting it" but just wanted to see if anyone else tried it yet or planned to.

It is absolute shit. If you liked the first one, you'll hate this 'sequel'. Just read some of the negative reviews on gamespot to get an idea, everyday gamers are much more honest than paid reviewers.
