Yeah I wasn't able to get in earlier, I got the page to load, filled it all out, clicked register and waited for what must have been 4 minutes. Got the captcha wrong, because I'm not a real human, and swiftly gave up until now but maybe later. I plan on playing this game but I do not know what I will be yet nor how I will play.

The reason everyone plays Alfar is really for 2 reasons. They are the smallest race (hardest to hit because of smallest hit boxes) and they are not natural allies with any other race which mean you can attack every other race in the game without taking an alignment hit and going red...

That being said from my time in Beta Alfar had without a doubt the most inter race killers... No racial unity among alfar, go figure...

I read that you can expect the server and the orders to open around noon EST. Of course this is just speculation but I would keep an eye on the site since the numbers will be limited.
So does anyone here have a guild lined up? Going solo looks like it might be quite difficult.

You would think since this has happened at every MMO launch in the past like 8 years, that developers would get the message that they need to upgrade their systems before launch. Guess not. Got my fingers crossed though, hopfully I can order this bitch come noon.

You'd be better off killing goblins since you'd also make money in the process which you need... (plus they give 3 arrows a kills every time.)

I've been thinkin about it namely due to farming arrows, but it just seems like there is going to be a point when that is the best thing to do, just like in UO.

So really right now the game is pretty much fuxxed because sync between the client and server is so bad. I dunno how anyone can play alfar or really anything but humans as all of the other races look fucking retarded. Anyway I made a human. Ran around a lot. Didn't really know what the fuck I was doing so ran almost to another races newbie area before finding some mobs that I could actually hit (i.e. no sync issue) but these mobs don't hit back so basically I am just earning up skills on practice dummies. They have the one whole server down for patching atm so who knows if it will be back up any time soon and hopefully they will fix the sync bullshit...

Still don't seem to be selling more copies of the game yet...
