Haha did you ear about all of the fail? Mail system crashed, forums crashed because it was flooded with crying, fun fun. When WoW fails it really fails.

nah, they fixed it. A little slow from time to time now, but not the horror show it was. zMailMod makes it more friendly as well.

I preordered it from walmart or something stupid to see if I could get CEs for my main accounts. No clue when I will get it if I even do. I have no real intention of playing it any time soon. I dunno what it is about WoW but it just seems insanely unappealing.

Yeah, ever since I could PvP for exp (in a shinier environment, aka not daoc) I need no other. Ever. Even if I started making alts and taking them to 12, I wouldn't even get mad at myself because that shit is so goddamn fun.

I'm sorry guys, but I can't stomach WAR pvp compared to WoW. It terms of mechanics and fluidity, WoW wins the pvp game hands down.

With the lore and the multitude of fun quests, I don't mind spending a week or two leveling to 80.

Plus, 'locks are fuckin OP right nao.

Yes, the implementation of PvP is better in WAR, but is the actual mechanics of the player versus player better than WoW?

I like it better than WoW. Sure I can't run around casting DoTs while not facing my target like in WoW but if anything that gives PvP even more room for skill imo, which is what I feel PvP has been needing. Collision detection rules, the knockback shit is pretty cool, I haven't had to deal with the magnet shit yet because I can't decide on a class, but if I keep it with my BW and I get magnetted then I've got a lot of AE effects.

I think WAR added some cool things to PvP but I think combat in WoW is superior in that the classes are better thought out and the abilities all flow smoothly and seem to work right. Warhammer is so buggy the combat is annoying as hell at times. Having cooldowns that randomly don't work properly and morale abilities you have to click on 15 times to make them go off. It's fucking annoying.

I think those things have explanations though, most just haven't figured them out. Like for Morale, I think if you're being hit or are actively damaging someone that it may not work. I do not know this to be true but I do know that I had very few problems firing them on my WE. On my BW, standing far back from the crowd, I was having troubles using them, but I think a Squig fag was shooting me.

I know there are abilities that add build time to your skills, if that is what you're referring to.

I've noticed that you can press an ability with the GCD at 1.0-1.5 seconds left and it will fire sometimes. I think it has to do with lag, probably client side and server side.

It feels like a buggy POS, sure, but I don't care. I mean shit, what can I complain about besides that? Just imagine what it is going to be like a couple years down the road. I think DAoC is more fun/rewarding than it ever was.

WAR actually allows you to "queue" one command ahead of the global cooldown to minimize on people mashing keys.

Hehe, yeah, I still love mashin those keys though. It'll make a little clicky sound when you mash one and it can't fire it yet. If you watch my video of my WE in Phoenix Gate there is a part where I'm chasing a healer who is almost dead and he's running away from me and all you hear is that clicky noise like crazy, it made me laugh when I noticed it.
