Apparently no one likes the way the most recent E3 was conducted. From what I have read E3 was held in a series of conference rooms and was "souless" from what one source said. I wasn't there but I wish it were opened back up for the public because I would like to go one of these days. Anyway, here is a good little article that talks about the shittiness that was E3 this year.

I never really got the "Lets make E3 serious business!" stance. It always seemed like back in the day that people eagerly awaited what would come out of E3 whereas nowadays it's like "E3 happened last week? No shit? Odd I didn't hear anything..." You would think if anything they would want to hype the shit even further, have more boothbabes, more excess, actually turn a decent profit, AND have people fighting over the rights to get in. It could be the event where every publisher is dying to release their latest and greatest. Instead it is boring and people throw tidbits of lame information and save the juicy shit for their own shows.

I agree. E3 lost a lot of steam by going secretive.
